With the ever increasing amount of video content available online and the shift to digital movie collections, many are looking for ways to view content from their PC to their HDTV. The problem with most PC to TV solutions is the quality loss from conversion and finding somewhere to put bulky converters. On January 18th, Sewell released the new Hammerhead to solve these two problems, along with a teaser video to drum up curiosity. Installation requires no drivers and takes only seconds. The user simply plugs the included VGA and 3.5mm audio cable from the PC to the Hammerhead, then runs an HDMI cable from the Hammerhead to the HDTV. It does not require any additional power for standard definition resolution but comes with a USB power cable for high definition video so the User can use the computer?s USB port to power the converter.
